Master Lim is the Abbot and President of Kalama River Meditation Center. He was ordained on the day of the Vesak full moon in 1988  in Thailand’s eastern province, Wat Janeanaram, as Phra Sudhevo Bhikkhu. Since then he has traveled and shared teachings in Australia, Belgium, Denmark, India, Poland, Sweden, Vietnam and the United States of America. He has been an abbot at many monasteries, including Sunnataram Forest Monastery in Thailand, Sunnataram Forest Monastery in Escondido California, Guandi Temple in Houston Texas, and Khema Meditation Center in Pearland Texas. As he made his journey to the west coast of the United States in 2014, he found the forest in Kalama, Washington State, to be suitable for insight meditation practice and to spread the teachings of pure Dhamma. He is now the abbot and president of Kalama River Meditation Center, Kalama, Washington State.

Nicole Dieu Do  worked as physician assistant and is one of the founder of Kalama River Meditation. She began meditating in 2000 and has studied with a number of teachers within the Buddhist Theravada tradition. Nicole was drawn to the jhanas (states of concentration) and has studied these meditative absorptions with Phra Ajahn Yantra, Master Lim, Dr. Le, Luang Por Jamnian, and Luang Por Withoon. She is a great supporter of Kalama River Meditation Center
